What should i wear to this 80s party?

So Im going to an 80's party....I decided to go as flava Flav seeing as he came into the mix around 1987....Soo I got a clock chain and a viking helmet...What else shoul i wear...I was thinking all black with white shoes... Maybe buy some gold teeth, or some fake gold chains seeing as gold not platnium was "In" back then....Maybe pick up some Aviator sunglasses...Give me some ideas on what i should wear and where i can pick these items up...???????????

If you're gonna be Flav, you have to be careful that you don't portray him NOW, as oppossed to the 80's image of him. High top sneaks, an all one color jumpsuit (track jacket and baggy track pant), in yellow or green would definitely look 80's, an try getting a cheesy clock for the chain that looks really old (go to a second hand store for that). Definitely research old pics of him to get the look down right. If all else fails, get some tight acid washed jeans with tapered ankles, rock some slip on vans, find a red leather jacket, smaller than you'd probably wear white shirt (or if you could find those that used to change color when you got hot, remember those?), and mousse up your hair. Have fun!
Reply:Flava wears bright colors such as red or purple jacket swith the matching pants. I believe he wears hats that matches his outfits. Try track suits, suits, or jersey with jeans. Don't forget the cane and have a bubbly personality. Flav is known to have ladies around him too. You can bring them or they will come to you.
