Would the tax revenue from greencards motivate Bush to take over a few more oil laiden counties?

I sure as hell don't want to pay to send them back. and the good old american laborer has long been cramming over his school work. Nobody wants their nastey jobs anymore and our grandparents told us not to do that... go to school...so we did. Won't legalizing them save all of us money? It's like torturing immigrants that come off the boat because they are poor and uneducated like our forefathers who kicked butt to keep us free the only difference is now they use gold teeth instead of wood.

right on! what kind of idiot would use wooden teeth?
Reply:Try the spell-checker - it really works!
Reply:There are fees for processing the green cards but no tax revenues. Somehow, you're reasoning escapes me.
Reply:Yeah... What?
Reply:I'm sure you have a good point in there but I must admit even I who can read even gibberish, cant find your point.Perhaps its just been a busy day for me and I am not up to top speed.I don't mean to sound rude at all so don't get angry with me .

Note to poster above they made dentures out of wood because they didn't know how to make them of anything else.George Washington was supposed to have wooden dentures.
Reply:Exactly the opposite. First, the reason there are limits on poor immigrants is because poor people don't pay much in taxes and don't cover their cost in education and other services. Second, studies have been done that show if legalized they would become eligible for many more services and would be even more expensive than they are now.

You can't have both a welfare state and unlimited immigration. There was no welfare state when most of our ancestors came, and the rest still came legally, under alloted quotas.

The cost goes the other way. After the problem is solved there might be other reasons for legalizing screened illegals (NOT to bring in family for risk of quadrupaling numbers that already cripple our schools). However, cost does not cut in favor of it.
