Am I the only one who feels the term baby daddy is ghetto?

When I hear the term "baby daddy" the image of someone with fake gold teeth and corn rows comes to me. I think using the term my childs father sounds more intellegent.

Am I the only one who feels the term baby daddy is ghetto?
no your not alone, it is ghetto and ignorant.
Reply:no you're not the only one, baby daddy is a ghetto term lol i should know people use it around me all the time!
Reply:I agree completely welcome to the dumbing down of America.
Reply:I agree! However, I don't get the image of corn rows because that's not ghetto that's black. I get the image of a low-life person!

I am black and I never use the term babby's daddy. I always say where is your son/daughter's father or something like that!
Reply:Well of course "child's father" sounds more inteligent.
Reply:I could not have agreed more with you. I can't stand when people says that
Reply:Oh my Gosh. I can't stand to hear people say that. For some reason, it makes me shame and I'm not the one saying it. Hear are some others I hate.

You know what I'm saying ( repeatedly)

On the real

my peeps and so on.

By the way, cornrows does not make you ghetto. Gold teeth make you weird. That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it.
Reply:I completely agree! I have always hated that expression myself!
Reply:thats is kinda ghetto a lot if you ask me
Reply:I think the term "baby daddy", is a misrepresentation of the endearing experience of parenthood.
Reply:No, you're not alone. I don't see cornrows and gold teeth, though. I see some poor child who is probably not getting child support.
