And no jokes about 'gold rings' thank you !!
I swallowed my gold tooth on a flight recently and I'm sure it hasn't passed through me. Is this dangerous?
well gold is poisonous. The ancients would swallow it to commit suicide. However, your gold cap is probably 10K or less (because those are stronger and are used for teeth) and won't bother you at all. However, you will "pass" it soon. I'd just let it go and flush it. Why on earth would you want a gold tooth? It's so 1970's ghetto.
Reply:it should pass through. but if you are worried, go to your A AND E dept. and they may send you for an exray.
Reply:Nope it will come out eventually. Good Luck
Reply:no, if it hasn't yet passed, it soon will. But if its been more than 48 hours, you've already passed it
Reply:It may be uncomfortable, irritating, and freaky, but it is not dangerous. Your body will eventually cause it to be expelled through the normal digestive processes. Don't worry about it. You'd be surprised at some of the things people swallow accidentally!
Reply:I certainly wouldn't fancy putting it back into my mouth, that's for sure!
Reply:Gold in the little proportion is harmless
Reply:Ok, no jokes about gold rings.
It depends how sensitive the metal detector at the airport is.
If nothing else you'll get a good frisking :-)
Reply:IT should pass straight through. and your just going to have to check your....... excrement for it. Rather you than me bud.
Reply:ya i guess it is because it is like a metal and can be harmful for ur health later!! i suggests that u go to a doc!!
Reply:Sorry to hear about your misfortune, just wait for it to pass, find it, use a old toothbrush to scrub it ( yes this is not something anyone would want to do ) throw out the toothbrush. Take your crown to the dentist and explain the situation, they will sterilize it and recement it. This happens. Don't panic, and all will be fine. good luck
Reply:your going to start a gold rush down at the local **** pit
should not do you any harm bloody expensive ****
Reply:This too shall pass. It will not be digested. It will not poison you. If it's a full gold crown and you don't want to disinfect and re-cement, at least ask for metal credit (even a gold alloy is expensive)
Reply:don't know probibly
